Fantasy 7s Week Two update

I know I said I’d send out results monthly but the people have spoken! BKH fantasy 7s has been trending like the northern lights this week (it was actually a rarer phenomenon called Steve this time… genuinely…look it up!).

So what’s happened since the first report? Well I’m pleased to report that everyone who backed themselves has continued to do so. Those who picked Adam in goal fill the top half of the table with his 2 clean sheets, 3 wins and 1 umpiring appearance so far. No hat-tricks yet this season but Harris is top scorer with 3 goals so far, with plenty on 2 just behind. Even John the goalie has scored which messed my spreadsheet up a bit, so no more goalkeepers scoring please! A couple of people in the naughty corner this time, scoring negative points for cards. I won’t mention names but Jasper and Seb know who they are.

We have a new leader atop the league; Euan has climbed 2 places after scoring an incredible 106 points in a single week! The Alexs (or is it Alexa or Alexi? What’s the plural of Alex… answers on a postcard) are climbing the table after some solid self-backing. Even Nath (of Kings Heath fantasy 7s fame) has woken up and started making tracks into the top third where he belongs. Most importantly, I’m holding a solid second place in the battle of the Joneses.
