The final results are in. I have spent months making sure that the numbers add up (more so that the actual club accounts!).
The funds raised from the team entries has been split so that 50% goes back to the club to raise a little money. The other 50% gets split between 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
In case anyone cries “FIX”, I have foregone the prize so congratulations to Connor who wins a world class trophy and £71, Charlie who receives £36 and Liam who receives the life changing sum of £12. Don’t spend it all at once!
What did the dream team look like? Most of these players were celebrated at awards night… apart from the goalkeeper and defenders… the unsung heroes of any team… quietly forming the basis of any quality team while our more flamboyant teammates win the plaudits. Well no more!! Our goalkeeper would be our captain to make the most of double points.
